18 Months Old-3

March 25- March 31

On Friday when I got home, Dan and Evan were chilling in the backyard, literally. Dan was reading a book, and Evan was running around as per usual. Well Evan runs over to me, all wobbly. And Dan is like oh I just switched shoes, he had these big shoes on that kept falling off, so now he is walking funny. I glance at Evan and he has both his legs in one hole of his shorts......um......LOL!!!!!!

We took Evan to Butterfly World on Saturday. We had a great time! Not many photos, we have been there so many times. Dan got his annual pass this time- yay!

Evan in the backyard being goofy on Sunday!

Sunday morning we went to breakfast on the beach! It was great! We walked in the sand and on the pier. Evan's favorite is the pier! He likes to peek at the water underneath his feet and watch for pelicans!

Our little boy is getting so big, sometimes I can't believe it. He is so tall and handsome. He tries to talk harder and harder everyday. He watches our move and copies us. Some new funny facts are, Evan loves getting his nose suctioned for some reason (weird), he can also blow his nose in a napkin, he loves to spill out his milk on purpose and then get a paper towel to wipe it up. He loves to drag people places he wants to go and literally yanks at our clothes. He still hates teeth brushing, but now we say ahhhhhhhhhh together and it helps him keep his mouth open.

It has been raining this week, Monday and Tuesday. When I pull in the driveway at 5:30pm, daddy and Evan were outside waiting for me both days, with flip flops on, running in and out of the rain. Evan is lucky his daddy lets him play in the rain. FUN!!!

Evan loves his bath time! he tries to take Seymour in the tub sometimes though.....lol. He is a sea turtle after all..... Evan has being doing pees in the potty, randomly before bath time. He doesn't seem that aware of it, nor he does he look proud afterwards, even though I cheer for him. I would say about half the night he will pee, sometimes he misses, or will wait to go in the tub. But at least he is learning where the pee is supposed to go. In the bath he loves to try to cuddle and give me hugs and get shampoo all over me in the process. He really loves soap and lotion bottles, He likes pushing down on them to get the stuff out, he is obsessed with it.

Evan has graduated to being a one nap baby--usually 2-4 hours long in the midday. So far this has been messing up lunch, it is either early or late, or a little of both, his naps are 11am-2 or 3pm, there abouts.

Our typical weekday is:
wakeup at 7am, one of us (me or Ev) usually wakes up around then
I take him out the crib
we wave to daddy
go see Apple and Rusty and let them outside
get milk-milk cup from the fridge
let the dogs back in
plop on the couch to watch tv and drink milk for twenty minutes
then we help mommy get ready for work
give Evan breakfast at 8am
at 8:30am I go to work-then it is daddy and Evan time
snack time
naptime 11am-2pm
lunch when he wakes up
playtime, usually outside as Evan demands
wait for mommy to come home
I get home at 5:30pm
We do snack time
walk or play outside
then play inside
dinner at 6:45
get milk milk cup ready
then bath time
brush teeth, get pjs on
then we rock and listen to music for twenty minutes with milk milk cup
and then by 8pm I lie Evan down in his crib, 80% of the time he is still awake
