Amelia ~ 7 weeks old

June 15- June 21

Father's Day week....here is what we did this week. 

Thursday me, Dan, and Amelia went to the movies while Evan played at Nana's house. We saw Snow White and the Huntsmen, it was good, but really loud. Amelia jumped a few times and I kept my hand over one of ears with the ear next to my chest to try to drown out the loud noises. She slept and nursed thru the whole movie. She made her loud dinosaur noise during the only quiet part of the whole movie! LOL! Then we went to Nanas house for dinner afterwards.

Friday me and the kiddos went with Gran-gran to visit Grandpa and Grandma E. It was their first time meeting and seeing Amelia in person! :-) My Grandma Toni got to hold her and love on her a little, she thinks she is the most beautiful baby ever of course ;-)

Saturday was Father's Day dinner at our house and we had both Grandpas over for lasagna. 

Sunday was real Father's Day but we had a boring day at home. It was gloomy and we had plans to go to the mall, but then we realized that it didn't open until noon, and noon at our house is lunch and then nap time, so usually on excursions we plan to be back by noon, not leaving at noon, so we didn't go anywhere.

Monday Dan was working so me and the kids went to Tradewinds park to play on the playground. However, Evan demanded we go see butterflies and eat pizza at Butterfly World, I couldn't say 'no', he is a hard little dude to say 'no' to. Then in the afternoon I decided to take the kids up to the pool by myself, but I ended up leaving pretty quick because I looked pretty frantic running between the kids, every time I got in the pool with Evan, Amelia would start wailing. One of the neighbors took pity on me and she was keeping an eye on Evan for me. 

Tuesday morning we walked up to the post office and then I took Evan with me grocery shopping in the afternoon. He loves SHOPPIN! 


Wednesday I took Amelia and went over to hang out at my sister's place (Auntie Tara). We just talked and looked at photos.


Thursday Dan was working. Me and the kids went to Joanns and got craft stuff for our annual Fourth Of July Photoshoot. Evan was so good at the store, he walked along with his fake flowers while I had Amelia in her moby wrap. People are still staring and commenting at Amelia in the moby wrap everywhere I go, I guess there are not a lot of baby wearers in south florida or something, people act like they have never seen a momma wear her baby! Evan got mini M&Ms for being so good. Unfortunately after a short nap he was a little whiny and it ended up being a tiring afternoon with both kiddos crying a lot.
