Amelia ~ 9 weeks old

June 29 -July 5

Saturday I left Amelia for 7 hours, the first time I have left her for this length of time. Gran-gran and Pop-pop watched both kiddos while I photographed a wedding. Evan was a perfect angel and had so much fun fishing with Pop-pop out back. Amelia did well, some crying, but she did take 1.5 bottles. I think she was so happy when I came home though, my little Princess Mia, I missed her!

Sunday was soccer day! And we went to Nana & Pa's house for lunch afterwards. Evan's favorite thing to do in the whole world. Every morning he aks me if we can go Nanas and if I dare ask what he wants to do (at any time during the day)--the answer is ALWAYS go to Nanas house of course. Evan is becoming more astute my the minute he now loves to tell me what Nana and Gran-gran let him do (that I don't...lol) Nana lets me pick flowers, Gran-gran lets me walk the dogs.....

Tuesday Amelia came with me and Auntie Tara to her 4th movie!!! LOL she is quite the movie-goer. Dan and I also went out to Melting Pot for our 5th year anniversary and had a great dinner together. Amelia came with us and Evan played at Nana and Pa's.

Wednesday was my birthday and the 4th of July. We had a blast at Gran-Gran and Pop-Pop's house for a Hawaiian Party! Aloha! Evan loved loved the snap poppers, he thought they were the fireworks. And the actual fireworks he did not really like. Amelia got weighed by Auntie and came in at a whopping 14.5 pounds!

Evan didn't talk much before 24 months and then all the words came out at once and by 25 months we were unable to keep track of all his new words!!!

At 4, right after his birthday Evan finally learned to say his sisters name correctly!!! We were all driving in the car and he just busts out with guess what guys? I can say Amelia!!!! And now he calls her that all the time, Amelia or Baby.
