August 16 - August 22
Evan got a big boy bed!!!
And of course his spunky lil sis loves his bed just as much as he does!!
He was in awe when his fish comforter was delivered to the house. I wasn't home, but Dan opened it with him and Evan kept saying "thank you, thank you". He can name all the fish for you if you would like :-) Thanks to this book my Aunt Pat gave to me when I was probably his age. Evan also told me the fish are "alive"and had a hard time coming to terms with actually sitting on them, but I think he is over now ;-)
I told Evan a horrid lie today. He has been making me by nutty cutting crayons. So he peels the paper off the crayon and then uses the scissors to cutoff a tiny lil piece (that Mia could eat cause it sorta ends up looking like food)....so anyways I told him crayons had feelings and don't like being cut up. Evan just looked at me and was like, oh I didn't know they had feelings......then I felt kind of bad for saying that to him, the better solution may have been to hide the scissors (duh). Oh being a mom is never easy, just please don't let be scarring him for life.
Halloween in August???
