Evan's 4 year old Appointment with Dr. Gomez
He received 3 shots and had his finger pricked. Also had a hearing test, which he passed.
He is 37 lbs (55%)
And is 41.75" tall making him 3.5 feet almost! (75%)
BMI 14.9 (25%)
Amelia's 18 month old Appointment with Dr. Gomez
She received 3 shots also.
She is 25 lbs 4oz (80%)
And is 33" tall making her 2 and three quarters feet tall! (83%)
BMI 9.8
This visit bugged me a bit because the kids were asked to do things they couldn't do. Like Evan can draw a circle and he can draw people, but he won't draw a square. And Amelia can say about 20 words, but she only will tell you the noise a snake makes, not other animals!! The doctor also brought up she advises Evan needs speech therapy! I was shocked- I think my mouth hit the floor. She thinks his words are garbled and he is hard to understand..... He is well above the vocabulary of a four year old. And right now he does not have a stutter at all. Evan goes back in 3 months to see her to get one more shot and will have his speech re-evaluated then. We are holding off on the speech therapy, I just need to do more research and see if I agree with the benefits of it.
