April 27 - April 30
Evan was thrilled we got a bunk-bed suite! We stayed at a Sheraton and it actually worked out quite well. Their pool was nice and I am wishing we got to go in it more :-( We went to Downtown Disney on the first day to get some shopping out of the way because Evan is pin obsessed. So we got Mia her first pin and pin necklace also. I think they are fun to collect too! We visited the lego store and dinosaur dig as well as the carousel. Evan says this was his favorite day because of the pins!!
The next day we went to Magic Kingdom and we rode so many rides, we made it there in time to here the countdown when they opened the gates! Unfortunately is was raining pretty hard by then and our first stop was for $40 worth of ponchos! -they should give them out for free---right?! We did Haunted Mansion first ride which Mia hated, so we went over to go on the teacups, then we did Monsters Inc laugh floor, Buzz lightyear, people mover, and by that time Alison got there with her family and we went on small world, explored Tom Sawyers Island. Then we split up and went on the Ariel ride and met back up again for Mia and Ella to go meet some princesses. Mia was nervous or starstruck or both, Rapunzel asked her what her name was- and she said "I don't know!" LOL -it was so funny. After that we met back up with Daddy and Evan who went on the race cars and got a snack, but Mia really wanted to do the race cars too- so we all went on that together and I gave Mia whiplash trying to steer that tiny car!-but she says she had fun! Next we did the Winnie Pooh ride and Peter Pan and then went and got dinner with Ali and her family. After that it was time to head out so we didn't miss our bus back to the resort, they only had two choices 7pm or 10pm! But we caught the end of the parade on the way out and got to see Mickey and even Chip and Dale! Then we had a photoshoot at the bus depot while we waited for our bus to come.
The next day we drove to Seaworld. We were all super excited and raced off to the SeaLion show first thing! Mia was sitting next to me on the bleachers and she went to stand up, lost her balance and fell face first into the bleacher in front of us, she hit her nose and it was bleeding. After that it was hard to get her going again- she didn't feel so good. The one thing that cheered her up was petting the stingrays! No fear, Mia wanted to keep one! She also loved the dolphin show! But when it came our time to pet the dolphins she wasn't so sure. It was late afternoon by then and Evan was melting down fast. We went over to the kid play ground and let him run around and tried to get a quick bite to eat. Then it was time for the orca show, but Mia was done, she wanted to stay at the play ground and didn't give a hoot about the orca show. After that we left. And the plan was to spend the last day at the hotel pool but it was chilly and gloomy so we just left and came home. Mia's favorite part was petting the stingrays for sure!
