September 24 - September 30
Evan hates getting sponge baths, but his stubborn umbilical cord refuses to come off. I am waiting for this thing to come off so we can take more photos of him. It looks so ugly.
Evan went to his pediatrician, Dr. G, for a checkup. I didn't know he had to have a shot though. I cried when I realized he had to have a shot. My poor baby. Evan just screamed once and when I picked him up he was fine, it was in his leg and he got a dot bandaid. :-(
Evan went on his first swing ride, he seemed to like it and fell asleep in it after about 10 minutes, but it seemed to make him dizzy maybe, so we decided to wait until he is bigger to use it regularly. It goes kinda fast and his eyes start to look like one of those cat clocks on the wall.
Poor Evan - we barely dress him. He has all these cute clothes I don't know if he'll wear most of them. We keep him in a diaper mostly, since he needs it changed so often, he goes #2 all the time! I had no idea babies pooped this much! I try to get him clothed if people are coming to visit. My advice to anyone is to not worry about having a ton of newborn clothes, Evan was lucky if he wore each outfit one time for like ten mintues before he had an accident on it.
