14 Months Old -4

December 10 - December 16

On Friday evening, Evan helped me decorate the Christmas Tree. Well actually he was more interested in the boxes and then he made me push the button for his Christmas Dog, that woofs jingle bells and wags his tail at the end, oh, about 15 times. Then he got attached to this white rat ornament and kept yanking it off the tree!! LOL! And at the very end I put the tree skirt around the base of the tree, turn around and Evan is carrying it around the house, so we have a very top-heavy decorated tree with no skirt this year!

Here is Evan at train in Boca Raton, we took him here on Saturday while I was taking anniversary photos of Auntie Tarie and Uncle Austin. He was a tad cranky, we had a really great Saturday, unfortunately both mommy and grammie forgot their cameras!!! (boo!!!!) :-( so we have no fun photos....BUT grammie and poppie came over and we all took Evan (daddy was working) to the holiday festival at the fire station (not the one daddy was at) and Evan played with some "snow" and he wanted to be just like the big kids! He also bounced around a bit with mommy in the fun bounce house! He ate a cookie, and then Ms. Mindy took us up in the bucket!!! (mommy, evan, and poppie) -grammie is afraid of heights- I thought for sure Evan would cry and we just go back down, but nope he didn't really look that scared at all. He watched grammie waving to us and was looking all around. I think we were like 5 or 6 stories high!!! Then after the festival we went to Dan Witt Park to play on the playground! Which of course he had a blast and showed off a bit, including how he likes to just walk off the slide without sitting down first! Then we all went to a buffet for a very early dinner, where Evan ate mostly fruit and a little mac and cheese! It was a wonderful fun-filled day!! I only wish I had remembered my camera!

On Thursday I bought Evan his own potty!!! Ohhhh- Ahhhh. It isn't really time, but since he is always in the bathroom with me anyways...I figured why not give him something to play with. So we'll see, my plan is really to only put him on it naked before bath time. And if I see him grunting I may take him in there to see what happens....
