April 29 - May 5
Evan has been up to a few newer things lately. One of the newest is undressing himself at nap time and leaving us pee messes. Daddy goes in to get him from nap time and finds Evan awake and naked with no diaper, pointing at his pee spot as if to say, look here- this needs cleaning.
Another thing is he is climbing monkey. He has been climbing up on the high-top dining room chairs for a while now. If you are in the back of the house, you hear the chair scooting out and then go running to find Evan trying to get something off the table that he is not supposed to have, anything from wallets to lipgloss...... And on Friday he climbed up on our bed by himself!!! Daddy turned around and Evan was trying to jump on the bed! It is super high up, I don't even know how he did it!
And lastly Daddy caught Evan laughing at something he saw on TV. This is the first time he reacted to something he was watching! He is getting so big and growing up so fast. He was watching a zoo show and they were featuring otters. He thought the otters were funny! Cute!
An impromtu swim in the pool. Evan decided to just go in with clothes on, so we all went swimming with clothes on. If we are outside with him behind the gate he will just go over to the steps and put his feet in (shoes, socks, the whole deal).....
