November 30th - December 6th
Monday (3rd) was a big day!We squeezed a lot of fun into one day. Auntie Tara hung out with us and we went to Sugar sand Park to play and ride the carousel. Evan was thrilled because I ran around the playground with him while Auntie and Mimi chilled. We went up and down the secret ladder, up the ladder, turn onthe spaceship, down the ladder to the space chair! :-) I made Evan do the black hole slide on my lap and he hated it! We did one carousel ride, on a bench only! (Evan will only do benches).
Then it was time for the doctors. Both kids had well checkups. Evan weighed 33lbs and Amelia weighed 18 lbs. Evan is doing great except we need to monitor is liquid intake better. Instead of eating, Evan likes to fill up on juice... Amelia is also doing great, she got two shots, owie!
After the doctors we went to the Boca mall to see Santa, but when we got there he was away feeding his reindeer on the roof. So we went to eat at california Pizza Kitchen while we waited.
Then it was a fast line to Santa and Evan was waving and yelling Santa! When it was his turn he went right up, sat on Santa's knee, smiled beautifully for the photo and told Santa he wanted "A LOT!!!!" for Christmas. Santa is a little hard of hearing though and he thought Evan said "a watch" so he convinced Evan that a race car might be more fun....And now Evan thinks Santa is bringing a race car...after Santa Evan did also ride the mall train because he did so good! I was in shock actually, this was a complete 180 from what happened last year, I was prepared for the same melt down from both kids, but both surprised me! :-)
