Santa came!!!! So exciting!!!
Evan on Christmas morning was beyong excited. I have the BEST video of him when he first wokeup. Daddy was at work and got home at 8:30am.

I kept telling Evan we couldn't open presents until daddy came home? why? he asks! I told him we didn't want to miss out on the fun, so we went downstairs to start the cinnamon rolls and let dogs outside. He was running around in his little pjs picking up presents and shaking them and completey wiped out, in most of the pics he has a little gooseegg on his forehead. It went away later in the day. I have no idea how kids do that, they just keep going like nothing happened. I think I would have a headache and need to lie down or be grumpy all day.....

So I was in the kitchen getting breakfast going when Dan walked in the door and Evan immediately ripped open the present he was holding at that moment screaming out "dads home!!!" The first present was the yellow racecar from Santa. I was pretty bummed I missed his face when he opened it, but because there was a ton more stuff under the tree he basically tossed it aside and was ready to open something else. :-)

We had a blast opening all the Santa presents along with a few special gifts from our faraway friends (Ella, Koen, Quentin <3 nbsp="nbsp">

Evan helped Amelia open her presents too! He would sometimes say, "actually this is for ME! "  LOL, he loves to say actually. So I would say, "actually I think Santa brought this for Mia"  Evan still calls Amelia 'Mia' because he cannot pronounced Amelia.

As soon as presents were opened Evan wanted batteries in everything and wanted to head outside to mow the lawn and race his racecar. We also zoomed it around the house before heading outside.

fave photo of all time!
