Amelia ~ 35 weeks old

December 28 - January 3

Happy New Year!

Last year was awesome, I don't know how it can get any better, but here is to the future! Cheers!

On Monday Evan accidentally drove his beloved gray racecar into a storm drain. :-(

Evan had gotten another racecar after Christmas when I took him shopping with his Christmas money he wanted daddy to have one too! There are no storm drains by our house, but they boys decided to go on a walk with me and Amelia. We were going around a corner and I heard a plop. I was like noooooo, but it was too late, it fell with a splash and sunk to the bottom of nasty water. Then we had sit down and explain to Evan that even if we got it out it would never work again because of water damage. :-( he was devasted for all of 2 minutes until we told him we would buy him a new one. Daddy took him to target and he picked out blue this time. :-) Leave it to my kid!

We spent New Year's Eve having pizza with my family, but we went home early to get the kids to bed. There had been a lot of excitement for Christmas and all, so we tried to keep it low-key this year!

Evan didn't talk much before 24 months and then all the words came out at once and by 25 months we were unable to keep track of all his new words!!!

At 4, right after his birthday Evan finally learned to say his sisters name correctly!!! We were all driving in the car and he just busts out with guess what guys? I can say Amelia!!!! And now he calls her that all the time, Amelia or Baby.
