10 weeks old

November 26 - December 2

Evan's First Thanksgiving!!! We went to Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday at 2:30 at Deer Creek Country Club with my side of our family. My grandfather (Evan's great-grandpa) has been treating everyone for a few years now. I think it's a wonderful tradition! It is so prefect because then no one has to cook or clean. Anyways Evan was a really good baby - he slept thru most of it, but woke himself up at the end with a dirty diaper. Which I stuck my finger into and got a present! gross!-thanks Evan! We also went to Nana's later for yummy dessert.

On Friday we took our family Christmas photos and I am going to make cards to send to a few friends and family members.

Evan is "talking" up a storm now. I have a few videos of his first sounds! So precious!

Since Saturday and Sunday Evan has been sleeping a bit more than usual. I am guessing he is just a growing boy and needs his rest!

Also some funny Evan spit-up stories! Last week on Sunday I was burping him when blech! ~ he threw up all over me, himself, the couch blanket, and a pillow. I was home by myself and so I sat there for a moment thinking to myself okay I can do this, I can stand up and not get the throw up on the floor, I put Evan up over my shoulder and blech! ~ he threw up all down my back and on the couch. Then I have Rusty sitting there trying to lick it up! Gross! So I move quickly and lay Evan on the bathroom floor mat, then grab everything off the couch to throw in the wash. Needless to say he needed a bath. Then again on Sunday this week, I was burping him after bath time and blech! ~ I think I caught it better this time, at least I was holding the burp cloth, but somehow it still got all over my hand, both our clothes and the pillow! but luckily Dan was there and brought us a towel and threw everything into the laundry and Evan didn't need a bath because it just got on his pajama footie. I really didn't know I was going to be washing a pillow every week!

Evan didn't talk much before 24 months and then all the words came out at once and by 25 months we were unable to keep track of all his new words!!!

At 4, right after his birthday Evan finally learned to say his sisters name correctly!!! We were all driving in the car and he just busts out with guess what guys? I can say Amelia!!!! And now he calls her that all the time, Amelia or Baby.
