Evan is a "warm baby". He gets sweaty and seems to get hot easily. He definately hasn't realized that we lived in Florida and it always freaking hot out! He hates blankets or being covered. We still continue to swaddle him up at night though, mainly so his arms don't flail around waking him up. He grunts to get his arms free though as soon as he wakes up, he's like let me out of this baby straight jacket!
Evan had his first "outing" to Lowes and Coldstones. We survived. He sorta had a mini-meltdown though. Evan always thinks he is hungry, he just always wants to nurse. But the next morning when I went to Panera Bread to meet up with my friend from high school, Erin, Evan behaved like a little angel-child and slept in his stroller the whole time while we had brunch. Erin gave him two really cute outfits too. One says "Sly Guy" with a fox and the other says "I'm A Great Catch!" with a moose.
Daddy says Evan sounds like a little dinosaur-- always grunting! haha!
When we went to our breastfeeding class this week I remembered to put him in a cute outfit. When I weighed him he was 10 lbs 6oz this week. Whoa! Good job boo-boo bear- gaining weight like a champ!
Evan has a little "stork bite" on the back of his neck. It looks like red speckles, I tell him it's his secret flaw because his hair covers it and no one even knows it's there!
