4 weeks old

October 15 - October 21

I took a bunch of photos for Evan's 1 month birthday with the cupcake and 1 candle on top for one month old.

Evan is now in size 2 diapers. They seem more comfy for him. We have moved up thru the sizes kinda fast. I find that if they are too small he will pee out of them easier. And we don't want that!

I bought a moby wrap for Evan. It's very neat and he seems to love it! I got an orange one thinking it was neautral, it's kinda bright, but Evan loves it, if he is awake I face him out so he can see the world, or if it's naptime he goes in facing my chest and will fall right to sleep leaving me handsfree to do some stuff.

Evan is starting to look at faces intently now. He can also scoot on his stomach with help during tummy time. We push against his feet and he pushes back and scoots along like he wants to be on the move.

I love giving him a bath because he enjoys it so much. We play in there for longer than needed and sing songs like "rub a dub-dub, evan's in the tub!" and "splish splash evan's taking his bath!" and we say "sprinkle sprinkle". He doesn't seem to mind the water getting inhis face at all. Good- I hope he keeps that up so he can be a good little swimmer!

I love being a mommy!!! I am dreading going back to work so much!!! It's going to be so hard when my maternity leave is over. I hate to even think of leaving him. We are having such great fun!

I am already thinking about Christmas and how it will be with Evan this year. I think he'll be 14 weeks by then! We'll probably get him his first ornament with his name and a stocking with his name. Maybe a few toys and new clothes. I am sure his grammy and nana will go overboard so mommy and daddy will keep it simple for this year since he won't be able to open anything yet or even know what presents he got.
