June 17 - 23
39 weeks and also Thursday was Evan's 9 month birthday. We started the day off with Evan launching himself off our bed though. I turned around to get a bra out of the armoire and 5 seconds later Evan is on the floor screaming. He anded headfirst onto the bathmat by my side of the bed. Dan was at work so I called right away and he came home for an hour, I also called Evan's pedi right away for advice and he told us to watch for vomiting and uneven pupil dilation and to wake him up every few hours to make sure he is arousable. He made me feel better and said it is the most common injury and it happens all the time and babies are quite resilient, the first of many accidents he said, plus I couldn't actually see a bump on Evan's head or anything. Dr. G said we could give him tylenol though if he needs it. I was so scared, I started crying, my poor baby!

We tried to take some 9 month photos at the DeGroff park on Sunday, but Evan was a little cranky and the sun was soo shiny! Not to mention I dropped my camera and busted the side of it open right before we left the house. Apparently I have no concept of physics.
These could have been so cute, but he wouldn't look up at me for anything!
Swinging! I think Evan was beyond tired at this point, he fell asleep as soon as I put him in the car, exhausted.
We had a good Father's Day too! Evan got daddy a dremmel tool, fancy shampoo, and of course his masterpiece (see below) -which daddy loved! Evan painted this canvas 3 weeks ago and we hid it under my side of the bed. Personally, I think he has a lot of talent!
