Amelia's First Week Home ~ Newborn

April 27th- May 3rd

Monday we were released form the hospital at around 2pm. We came home to a nice clean home with a perfect sleeping baby :-)

Evan came back home with Nana and Pa at around 5:30pm and he was so happy that we were home and that we had the baby with us. He got a few big brother presents so he would feel special. We had a big family dinner and Amelia slept thru the whole thing!

Amelia went to her first doctors appointment on Wednesday. Dr. G. was out of town so we had to see another doctor in the group. Baby Amelia is doing great, gaining weight already, she got one shot. She is 75% for weight and 85% for height. She weighed 7lbs 15 oz. The doctor said she has an uncommon ability to roll onto her sides already! She is a strong girl!

Evan didn't talk much before 24 months and then all the words came out at once and by 25 months we were unable to keep track of all his new words!!!

At 4, right after his birthday Evan finally learned to say his sisters name correctly!!! We were all driving in the car and he just busts out with guess what guys? I can say Amelia!!!! And now he calls her that all the time, Amelia or Baby.
