12 weeks old

December 10 - December 16

Okay it is time for Evan to stop getting older. Gosh, I just want him to stay little forever, we are so smitten with our little Ev.

I noticed on Thursday that Evan has a bone that sticks out on his left palm under his index finger. It is a hard spot that feels like a sharp bone that is poking out. His right hand does not have this weird hard spot at all. I spoke to a nurse about it on Thursday and she said that as long as it is not red or tender that it is probably nothing to be concerned with and to show the doctor at Evan's next appointment. But it still really concerned me so I made his appointment for the next day, Friday. Dan and I were both able to take Evan to see Dr. G, who assured us it is nothing to be concerned about. Evan got the other three shots he was due for since we were there anyways, my poor baby!

On Friday, Evan went to a party, a college graduation party for his Auntie Tarie at Grammie's house. Then on Saturday Evan had a big day and went on a walking tour thru a botanical garden. I wore the moby wrap and Evan slept thru almost the entire thing. At the end it started rain and daddy held the umbrella over our heads. Then Evan went to his very first restaurant and was very well behaved at dinner with mommy, daddy, grammie, poppie, Aunt Tara, Uncle Austin, Ms. Miller, and Mr. Miller. He sat in carrier on top of a high chair turned upsidedown. I had no idea you could use a highchair like that, but the waiter insisted. It made mommy kinda nervous though, next time we'll bring in the stroller.

Evan in his stroller, he sits in it whenever I am busy in the kitchen.

  1. Aren't you glad you've had years of training as a photographer?! It's EXTRA worth it when you can capture moments like these of your little angel so beautifully. I love the pictures!
