19 weeks old

January 28 - February 3

Evan is just so precious! He turned 19 weeks old on Thursday, he is about four and half months old. We are so proud of the way he sleeps in his crib in his own room like a big boy! No fussing at all, usually I go get him between 5-7:00am (pretty much whenever the dogs wake me up), but no cries from Ev, I go get him and he usually has his eyes open, arms unswaddled and is hugging one of his blankets that I use to swaddle him with like a lovey or chewing on it. I am amazed, definately enjoying these pre-teething days of peacefulness, I hope they last! Evan has still been going to bed at 9pm, so about 9 hours at night and then we try to get 3-4 hours of naps during the day, I hope he sleeps enough.

Ev made a trip to see Dr. G on Friday morning with daddy. He got one shot and one oral vaccine. He is 16.2 pounds!! Unbelieveable how big he is getting! Doctor says he is the perfect weight for a breastfed baby.

Of course Ev loves daddy's iphone, it is one of his favorite things to reach for and try to hold. He is very big on music.

Right now Ev watches HandyManny while I get ready for work in the morning (he was watching SpongeBob with the sound off, but Auntie Tarie frowned on this and I agree it isn't really age appropriate cartoon for him). We are getting his "Your Baby Can Read" Dvds in the mail any day now. I found a woman on craigslist who was willing to mail them to me. So as soon as we get them he will be watching that in the mornings for like 20 minutes while I get dressed and get makeup on.

I jump! ok not really, my feet barely touch even with the help of mom and dad's boos block.

Evan's eyes are changing colors again. They look more hazel-green sometimes...

my "Evan-obsession" necklace finally came! And I added on my "E" from Jenny too!

Evan got his very first tooth! I was brushing his gums on Monday night during bathtime and I felt it, I had Dan inspect it too, but having never experienced a baby's first tooth neither one of us were 100% sure. But...Grammie and Auntie confirmed it the next day when they were watching him. It is popping thru on the bottom right! So exciting! I guess this is the beginning of toofers for Ev!
