This is Evan's very first tooth coming thru the surface. I noticed it on Monday last week.
Evan made daddy this birthday present. Happy 29th birthday to Evan's daddy! It's a little cast of his hand and foot in a 3-d shadow box frame decorated with recent photos from when the cast was done a few weeks ago. Dan had to work on his birthday, so me and Ev baked him Reece peanut butter cup cookies in the morning and drove to the fire station to surprise him. Daddy was outside getting his bedding to prepare for a nap when he pulled in the parking lot and said "surprise".

Ev was fast fast asleep. He was acting like he wanted to nurse to go to sleep (he does that often to soothe himself not because he is hungry), so I was bouncing up on my shoulder to calm him down and all of sudden I feel the weight of his head on my shoulder completely passed out.
The water was COLD! That woke him up for about 30 seconds.
And back asleep.
