March 18 - March 24

On Thursday Evan had a really good eating night (sorta). I fed him the rice cereal and he was loving it!!! Trying to gobble the bowl and the spoon and everything. I feed Evan rice cereal in the morning and at night, so he eats a little bit twice a day. He seems to like it if he is the mood for it. Thursday I guess I gave him a bit too much and then he wasn't interested in nursing which made it hard for him to go to bed (usually he falls asleep nursing). So I had to moby him and sit at my computer and wait for him to fall asleep. He did better on Friday night, Auntie Tarie was over (for tie dye) and we fed him the cereal a little earlier in the evening-he gobbled it up- then we did his bath, and he nursed for a long time. But then he hadn't gone to the bathroom all day, so he had to go sit in his poop chair (lol), then after his diaper change he was ready to nurse again and did for tiny bit and was still awake so I had to lie him down in his crib awake. I swaddled him up and turned on his mobile. That worked.

Rusty don't go!
stop! you're my pillow! so soft!

big boy!

I am a super star! For reals!

We went the Hatsume Festival on Sunday at Morikami Park in Delray Beach. All 7 of us, Grammie, Poppie, Uncle Austin, Auntie Tarie, Daddy, Mommy and Evan. We had a great time, we had to leave early though because Evan (the usual angel child) decided he wouldn't nurse outside in the heat, and he hadn't gone to the bathroom all day and it was hot, so he had just had it and nothing was soothing him, so we got in the car with the a/c and put on some baby einstein you tube videos on Dan's iphone and headed home. Luckily the videos kept him quiet in the car and once we got home he was perfectly fine. Oh ya and me Evey wore our matching tie-dye shirts!

Grammie made Evan frozen carrot baby food and brought it over on Sunday! Mommy couldn't wait! I fed it to him with his dinner rice cereal and Ev said blech!!!! He made a gross face, gagged, and then made his whole body shake a repulsive convulsion. Then the next morning, Monday, I decided to mash up a banana with his breakfast and he did the same thing. I filmed it! He was a little better with his Monday dinner carrots, I'm sure he'll grow to like them. Here his video of the gross banana episode.

Evan rolled from back to front for the first time Monday night. I am sure it was just a fluke, but I cheered for him anyways. He looked at me like, now what? Because he got stuck and then needed help to roll the other way (even though he has done that lots of times already)....goofy child!

Look at the peepers on them! Both have such gorgeous eye colors!!!
