March 25 - March 31
Evan is on and off with whether he likes his rice cereal / babyfood. Somedays yes and somedays no.
On Saturday we made lots of babyfood!!! We made broccoli, peas, butternut squash, rutabega, apple, pear. It was fun to make, but shopping for the stuff wasn't the best experience. Me and Evan went to Fresh Market and I would never shop there again -without going into a full on rant suffice it to say that everything was highly inconvenient.
And Evan had his first bite of Avacado on Saturday (only one though) he wasn't sure if he was a fan! Avacado was the one thing I really CRAVED when I was pregnant.
He can pretty much roll both ways now, when he remembers, but he hasn't done a consecutive back and forth yet without mommy helping.
I gave Ev a boo-boo on accident on Thursday. :-( We were stretching with his arms and I got his nose with my fingernail somehow and it started bleeding, there is a small scrape, it looks bad and I feel awful.
Here is Evan rolling front to back.....
and then back to front and reading his book!Evan Daniel the redhead!
hi!

This is actually the first time I've ever even seen Ev try to eat his toes! Funny!!!

cutie!
On Sunday, Evan was rolling all over the place. I went to get him from a nap that I put him on his belly and in the crib he had turned over and was on his back! First time that ever happened! During reading time he rolls away now, back to belly seems so easy for him now. He forgets sometimes he can roll back though and he does this little skydiver pose with his arms stretched out and legs up, like balancing on his belly grunting.
Evan got threw up everywhere on Tuesday night after his dinner. I fed him carrots and avacados and on his last avocado bite he barfed all over himself and his car seat. And I think he got scared by it because he started crying hysterically, so of course I scooped him up and got throw up all over me too. Poor baby!!! Wednesday morning I gave him a bit of banana in with his cereal and threw up again! And it is not just that he is pushing out what is already in his mouth, he is making himself gag and throw up. So I pretty much have decided no avocado or bananas for awhile. Something with the consistency he doesn't like. I introduced pears on Thursday morning and he does good with those, all he did make his face at first.
