34 weeks old

May 13- May 19

Evan is turning 8 months old on Monday May 17th! He is getting tooth #5 now and probably a sixth one will be coming soon. More teeth on the top. #5 is on his right side.

On Friday evening we visited with Grammie, Poppie, and Great-Aunt Pat and Great-Uncle Bill (visiting from Akron, Ohio). They were going to the Bahamas for a joint vacay but we got to have dinner with them before they left. Evan was NOT a happy camper. His 5th and now 6th tooth were working on popping all the way out and he was just plain whiny.

Here is a video of Evan at the park with some new friends he just met. These are my co-workers kids, we all had 2009 babies within months of one another February, July and September.

We went to the park on Saturday. Angela, my co-worker invited us for her daughter's 13th birthday. It was a lot of fun to get the babies together! Emerson is Jeriann's daughter and AJ is Cathy's son.

Then later on Saturday I blew up Ev's kiddie pool since daddy put chlorine in the big pool and he has fun splashing. Rusty kept trying to go in too and let out a bunch of water. Oh and I took photos with my pocket cam cause I wasn't sure how wet I was going to get sitting next to the pool, and the camera DID end up getting wet and wouldn't turn on for like two minutes, of course I was freaking out about it, but eventually it came back.

He loves this brush, I don't know, but it makes him happy. We aren't too thrilled about him liking to chew on it, but so far it hasn't harmed him, so it isn't a battle worth fighting at the moment. And it is mildly a step up from paper, another Evan's weird loves.....he likes to crinkle the paper, he LOVES books, but if he can eat paper he tries.....

He is just a goofy boy! The sunscreen made his hair stick straight up!

Evan is EIGHT months old!!!! Oh my!!!

I remember when Evan got these PJs, Billy gave them to us when Evan was first born when he came to see him for the first time....I remember just holding these PJs up and being like, ohmigoodness-they are SO BIG, Evan isn't gonna fit these for a long time! I washed them and stuffed them in the bottom of his armoire. I can't believe they fit!!!! Time has flown by!
