Thursday night was not was so great for us. I was putting Evan to bed and was walking through the hallway to his room when- SPLAT! Evan throws up on the floor. Dan yells to me everything ok? and I am say Evan threw up all over me. So Dan says go into the bathroom, but I am frozen there covered in throw up and then - SPLAT, Evan throws up all over the other side of my shoulder too! Oh Gosh, it was a long evening and Evan ended up cuddling on the couch for about an hour while we watched TV, poor baby!
and here is a little video of him moving along!
Evan sleeping on Friday night hugging a blankie! I think Jenny sent us this blanket!

Saturday we went shopping to Saplings used baby store in Lighthouse Point, we found a lot of great clothes! Auntie came too! We also went to Party City to scope out birthday supplies and get balloons for the smash cake session later that day. Of course one popped right away in the car!
Evan is hilarious, some of his funnier antics are lifting up daddy's shirt (?) and daddy's pant legs, he also likes to poke any hair I have on my legs (thanks Evan), if I ever thought I could get away with not shaving I guess Evan is telling me I can't (haha). He has to hug every single stuffed animal he owns, and if we go to a store he wants to hug all the stuffed animals there too! He loves piles of clothes especially nice folded clothes, he can destroy a pile in seconds (I think he gets this from his daddy). He flattened and unfolded a pile on Saturday, he puts the clothes up to his face like he is smelling them and he hugs them too! He also loves to put my flip flops in the laundry baskets!
So Saturday evening we did Evan's smash cake session! Grammie made Evan's giant cupcake cake for him, it came out gorgeous!!!-a little too pretty to smash! I bought Evan a special onsie, party hat, and cake candle from different shops online. All four grandparents came to the park with me and Evan. Poppie took a video while I photographed. Evan was thoroughly confused, I think because we put him and the cake on the ground he didn't know what to do. At first he just poked at it and kind of ignored the cake, and he was scared of the balloons behind him. And all these dogs kept coming into the park and we had to guard the cake. Then Nana told him to pat the cake and he got it! He started patting the cake! And tried to hug it too! It was so funny, but he didn't eat one bite, none made it to his mouth! He did get icing on his face though trying to swat a bug and the food coloring in the icing made his face turn bright red for a little bit (it went away by bath time). The photos came out great! Hopefully when it's party time and he is in his highchair he will realize the cake is FOOD-and yummy food!! LOL!
Sunday we did our grocery shop, it was a rainy play day inside!

my little dentist! even though it isn't the greatest of photos I love it anyhow!
