January 21 -January 27
Lion Country Safari. We went on Sunday and had an amazing day! It was much fun! Evan was freaking out about everything say "oooooo" all day looong and pointing at everything! He fell asleep for maybe 20 minutes right before we got there, but we woke him up to party and see all the animals!
So glad we did, it was one of the best days ever! We had an absolute blast! Evan loved the car ride he sat on my lap and we looked out the window together. he could see everything so well. And I kept saying, "Evan this is as close to a rhino as you will ever be so get a goood look", "Evan this is as close to a lion as you will ever be so get a goood look" LOL. The rhinos were walking on the road in front of our truck, which was so cool. And the lions were out sunning themselves in the cool weather and one of the females walked right up to the fence so we got a very close look. I loved the zebras! We rolled out windows down for those. And also the gibon monkeys were putting a big show for all the cars, so cute!

Then these photos are from the amusement part that is walk thru with rides and animals. Evan loved hanging out with his buddy AJ, they shared lot of hugs (precious!) and both were raring to go after a nice lunch in the cafeteria, where Evan scarfed down a fruit bowl and chicken fingers.
