23 weeks old

February 25 - March 3

We are ready for some warmer weather! Every time it seems like it might warm up then another cold front comes again. Brrr! Evan is doing great though! He is mostly in 6-9 month clothes now and I broke down and bought him a pack of size 4 diapers. He is a chunky monkey! His two teeth are coming in good.

We had a a rough night on Wednesday last week with him not going to bed and then waking up at 2am to eat. Must have been a fluke because he is back to sleeping fine again. He is really awesome about it.

Evan has just been doing a lot of what I call "practicing" like sitting in his big boy table chair and sitting up. He practices holding his sippy cup and also I started pretending to put the spoon in his mouth empty. He was like- "yum air!" But he will be starting cereal for the first time on the March 13th. I am so excited!

Crabby cake- just one to prove Evan is smiley most of the time but not always. When he is hungry he is not in the mood for photos.
On Friday night I put Evan to sleep at 9pm (his bedtime) and he was awake, so I swaddled him all up and sung him a few songs and said "nite nite". I went back in there a half hour later to make sure he fell asleep and found him like this. Little Booger!!!! Not only did he free his arms completely he grabbed his blanket from his feet and put it up by his face-probably to chew on it!
Evey loves his jumperoo! We had to put a boos block underneath his feet for him to stand on, but he can spin all around and play with all the stuff, he isn't that great at jumping yet, but is practicing standing for now and balancing his weight.

This is a very serious face!

In his table chair again. We were actually taking some photos to send to daddy on Friday while he was at work. He actually had a big fire to put out in a local field! Go Daddy!

p.s. Evan LOVES getting his photo taken. I really think he does, I am convinced. Anytime we get out the camera whether it's "the big one" or the cellphone camera he knows to smile. I say "cheese" and he smiles away! Sometimes I sing him Jimmy Buffet's "Cheeseburger In Paradise"
..I like mine with lettuce and tomatoes, heinz 57 and some french fried potatoes....haha I hope those are the words!

Here is Evan in his kid rocking chair. I think he thought he was pretty cool.

This is a typical Ev tired look.
He bombed his Easter photos, we gotta do a redo.
