Cake Smash

All the good photos form the cake smash! I delayed this post a bit, I wanted to get their party invite first before posting all the photos! We had great fun! All the grandparents came to Evan's cake smash! Auntie Tara and I bought balloons earlier in the day, one popped though in the car and another at the park, Grammie made the gorgeous giant cupcake-cake, I bought a special onesie and hat and birthday candle for the photo shoot. Evan was slow to warm up to the idea of sitting on the floor with a giant cake in front of him, he wasn't sure what to do or why 5 adults were talking to him nonstop all at once. But he got into it after Nana told him to pat the cake! He did great! He took his cake smashing quite seriously! He didn't eat any of it, actually he swatted a bug and got frosting on his face. I think he wasn't sure if the cake was food, cause he usually eats in his high chair. We tried to take bites and show him that it was yummy, but he didn't believe us I guess! :-)

( Ohh and don't mind the scratches on his legs, he got them from the dining table I think, I sat him on my lap for a minute earlier in the day, then we let the dogs outside and I looked down and he had huge marks on his legs! )

At 4, right after his birthday Evan finally learned to say his sisters name correctly!!! We were all driving in the car and he just busts out with guess what guys? I can say Amelia!!!! And now he calls her that all the time, Amelia or Baby.
